Terminal Service Easy Print & Calibri Font, Word & Excell

By Cudmasters Los ·
There are thousands of documents already created, before i got servers for our company. The problem is that 2007 Office word and excel's default font is calibri, and terminal service easy print won't print it. It prints jibirish. Needless to say, in order to fix this you have to highlight the whole document and change it. Aerial works.

Any suggestions

thanks for the links, however if i open the other thousands of documents that were created in calibri, they will still open in calibri. So when printing, the user has to highlight the whole document and change the font to print. If i don't use easyprint, there is no problem. If i could install the driver of the printer on the server, there wouldn't be a problem, but there are a few printer drivers that the server won't take, so i have to use easyprint.

To eliminate future problems, i will change the default font. But was hoping there was a fix.

Might ask on the Microsoft terminal services community forum what's the best way to set the default font in Office being deployed by terminal services.

here's a link:

I found a hotfix for it and it worked. This has been a pretty big issue for me. This was the problem

File from W7 fixes problem.

I know this sounds crazy, but it works.
I had the same problem on XP machines running to 2k8r2 terminal servers.

You can copy TSWPFWRP.EXE from a windows 7 x32 box (windows\system32) and paste that in the XP corresponding folder (don't forget to rename the existing One) and it will start working after a reboot.
