Terminal Services interactive logon!

By Whatme? ·
I have terminal servics installed on all my Win XP Pro workstations. When I try to log on to a remote station though, it logs the current user off. Is there a way to log on interactive? or log on letting the user stay logged on?

I'm not really sure this will solve the problem, but look at: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;242051.

What I do is set up secondary terminal server accounts tsuser1 etc. The user is never logged off of their regular logon. When the terminal server session ends they are returned to their desktop. This also solved the problem with my users all havingroaming profiles and redirected folders. I did not want HKEY_CURRENT_USER following them to the terminal server. It is also beneficial since you can put the tsuser accounts in a separate OU for a terminal server lockdown group policy, separate from the policies they receive with the regular user accounts

Yes that woold work if my users used terminal services. I use terminal services strictly as administration. "I" log onto their workstation to correct or administer their station. When I do..it logs them off.
