Termination Process Checklist

By newellx3 ·
I was just curious if anybody had a template or is willing to share a checklist, they use, to make sure all software/hardwared is disabled for a terminated employee.

I have a checklist, now, but was just curious with what other people had.

Yes, a check list is essential. Besides software
passwords and user names that need to be
eliminated, if neccesary, other tools need to be
collected, if they are licensed, and don't
forgrt building pass keys, and identification
cards provided by customers but backed by the
company need to be returned. Don't forget
any credit cards, or access PIN's that may
have been provided by the employer. Another thing
to be considered is storage areas, either inside
or outside the facilities.

I have not a check list, but I have a journal off all users. When a user quit, I check from this journal if all necessary things are done.

I have a list that our department brainstormed a few weeks ago. It also includes what to do for new hires, people going on leaves of absence, as well as internal staff transfers.

Send me a private message if you want to see the list.

New Hire/Termination Checklist

I just came on the scene. Can anyone share with me a template or checklist for new hire/termination process? RealGem mentioned that they came up with one but I can't seem to contact them. Can anyone else help?
