I have Redhat 9.0 fresh install for one reason or another I can not read the text of the icons or kde menu. I have not configured the NIC yet. Is there a key stroke to change it? Or do I have to reinstall?

edit the xfs configuration file and change default font size.

edit the kde conf file and make sure it's not overriding the xfs ( x font server )

both can be edited in console mode using vi(m)
if mc is installed, select the file in mc and hit F2.
( mc = Midnight Commander, a file system broswer )
