Which One?

by dogknees In reply to That one...

I really don't know what you're referring to. And I have never posted a video anywhere.

Calling someone a nazi is pretty unpleasant, so I'd like to know what has caused you to think this.

I changed my name (for the first time ever here or on any site) as I use this one in other places and wanted to be consistent.

Wait - what?

by seanferd In reply to That one...

Who the **** called you (I assume) a Nazi? Ridiculous, but I can't tell at all what is going on here from this apparently detached thread.

That Seems To Be The Norm

by dogknees In reply to Wait - what?

I have the same trouble with these "take offline" threads. There doesn't seem to be a link back to the original discussion that spawned them.

In the thread "Extreme Cybercrime...." AnsuGisalas posted "He's the same person who posted neonazi agitprop a month ago, just so you know."

Unless I'm misreading it.

Ah, OK.

Thanks.

Yeah, the "take offline" needs a built-in referent. Also, good to see, from reading the rest of the thread, that it was not you who was Godwinned at.

I noticed that on Day One.

by CharlieSpencer In reply to Wait - what?

There doesn't appear to be a way from a 'Take Offline'-spawned discussion back to its parent.

There is, though...

by AnsuGisalas In reply to I noticed that on Day One ...

Go up all the way to "Discussion on [unrelated topic here]"... that's the link to the "in context" post it came from.

Indeed, but

by seanferd In reply to There is, though...

it is still hard to put that post, displayed all by itself (and no longer mentioning nazis) into the thread context without scrolling all over.

Instead of jumping to the post position in the thread, we get these dumbass isolated posts displayed at the top of the thread.

So the link is mislabeled?

by CharlieSpencer In reply to There is, though...

Why am I not surprised?

My Error I Think

by dogknees In reply to That one...

Re-reading the thread, I think Ansu was referring to the poster I responded to rather than to me.

My apologies if this is the case. No harm, no foul!

Exactly... and looking again, I can see how you got the wrong impression.

by AnsuGisalas In reply to My Error I Think

I edited my first post there to clear it up - I certainly did not intend to cast any muck on you, Dogknees.
