The Best of The Best

By beachbouy ·
I consider a good uninstaller program to be essential. It is usually one of the very first things I install on a new system. I've been using uninstaller programs since Windows 98, and I've tried them all. Without a doubt, Total Uninstaller is the hands-down best of the bunch. Next to that, I would give a nod to Ashampoo Uninstaller. Revo, Zsoft, Undelete 360, IObit and rest have not impressed me. They simply don't live up to their claims.

It seems that uninstaller programs have not been as popular in recent years. I think there has been a false sense of security that Windows requires a thorough uninstall routine from software makers. That is absolutely false.

Total Uninstaller is the most refined and thorough installation logger/uninstaller available. Ashampoo's product has been around a long time... longer than any other on the market. I don't think it is as refined as TU, but, it's a good program, and it's free!
