An annoying problem has crept into my laptop (a Toshiba, for what it’s worth — I’m also using XP). Approximately every 15th character I type is skipped. The problem seemed to arise when DEP came into play, but playing with the DEP settings has not yielded any lasting results. (When I check NMain.exe, it unchecks the nex
I’ve also tried going to IE8, but the problem also occurs in Notepad when IE is not running.
I’ve tried upgrading and reinstalling the keyboard driver… no change.
I did notice that Toshiba has an update to the BIOS driver for my machine, but I am a little intimidated to do this update.
Any ideas?
