Running a PIII 800 with 128MB and getting error when trying to run resource intensive apps from CD Rom “The device, \Device\Ide\IdePort1, did not respond within the timeout period” and “The device, \Device\CdRom1, has a bad block”. Application will freeze with these errors. Does this on all kids of software. Any tips?
