    The Different Couple

    Locked

    by john.a.wills ·

This 1980s Hollywood (or at least Los Angeles, I am pretty certain) movie tells the story of a gay woman and a gay man. She goes to a gay pride event near her home and meets him, from out of town. After the event she invites him home with her as he has such a long trip to his home. What with one thing and another he stays longer than originally intended and they end up having a baby. Or so I gathered from the L. A. Times.

The movie elicited considerable offense in certain quarters – as printed in the L.A. Times.

Does any of you remember the studio, the actors’ names, etc.? Is it on DVD? VCT? My searches in various movie shops, including Amazon and ALibris, have been fruitless, as have searches via Yahoo, Google and Bing.

do a keyword search on IMDB.com. Otherwise, it sounds like a movie that Madonna was in with some actor. Rupert Holmes?

I tried “The Different Couple”, “Madonna” and “Rupert Holmes”; the names led to lists of movies, neither including “The Different Couple”. Good idea, though.

You have yet to correct your, “Does any of you”, to, “Do any of you”.
