i just installed Windows Xp Professional onto a brand new hard drive and after i got it all setup and everything, i turned off the computer to add my Other hard drive i use for storage ONLY [drive f]. it has never had a operating system installed to it. and my new hard drive is NTFS.Windows detects my extra hard drive BUT when i click on the icon for it it says : “The Disk in Drive F is not formated, Do you want to format it now ? ” i do NOT want to format it because i have around 75 GB worth of software.movies etc on it. so is there any way i can get my computer to detect my extra hard drive WITHOUT formatting it ?
