Please excuse my ignorance.
I’m sick of reading about ‘cloud computing’ and (as I’ve just read about the new windows KIN phone software) “Cloud based”, so on and so forth, and not knowing what in high heck it’s talking about.
I remember not too long ago, in an article regarding the use of buzzwords and how they tend to confuse situations rather than clarify, and I tend to affiliate that article with the term ‘Cloud’ when talking computing and technology. I must have missed a key loop somewhere along the way when they starting going on about the cloud…
I guess my question is simple. What is Cloud Computing?
Also, I guess on a discussion note, does anyone else find the word “Cloud” when referring to the lost never never’s a vague and un-descriptive name for it?
