The Most Boring Friday Ever

Well I have just completed the most boring day’s work I’ve ever had in my life. Today I have done …

Absolutely nothing.

All my project work is up to date.
Not one single piece of hardware failed.
Not one backup failed last night.
Not one service fell over.
I didn’t lose a single wide-area link (not even for a second).
All the 1st line support staff managed to resolve their own calls.
Not one salesman rang to try and sell me a piece of hardware/software that I don’t need.
My boss was in a very good mood (rarer than rocking horse $h1t)
Even the Friday Yuk has been slow today.

I have spent 7 1/2 hours surfing the web … there was one point where I was almost tempted to go and break something.

Has anyone else ever had a day like that?
