I have a client with the following computer problem.
Computer is Pentium 166MMX machine with 32 MB RAM, 4GB hard drive, AWE64 sound card, 56K modem.
The motherboard si a DFI 586ITBD motherboard which has had to be replaced once because if thecomputer is left running for a couple of days waiting for phone messages, it will hang and start playing music.
The computer vendor replaced the board once under warranty one year into the life of the system. Now 1.5 years later, tthe replacementboard also started playing music.
Does anyone know of a corrective to this problem, besides replacing the board? Needless to say, Pentium boards are getting scarce.
Thanks for your help
