If this is posted elsewhere please direct me there. I also checked for a link to report site issued back to TR directly though I can’t see it. As such, I’m posting here encase other’s can confirm this issue.
I?ve got my list of subscribed discussions like most others may have. The majority of the time I get a listing of updated discussions sorted in order by date; most recent to most distant. For whatever reason, this list of discussions seems to be coming up a mess as of recent. I?d say it?s usually in the morning that things show out of order correcting itself eventually during the day at some point.
Here?s what I?m seeing this morning when I click My Workbench:
08/27/2007 14 new post(s) to the discussion Sanity check: How Microsoft trounced Linux in China and what it means for freedom, justice, and the price of software
08/27/2007 4 new post(s) to the discussion Top RPG kidnapped and tortured for password
08/24/2007 13 new post(s) to the discussion Poll: Would you be willing to use a Mac as your primary system?
08/29/2007 1 new post(s) to the discussion LinuxWorld Day 1: Big Green Linux, preloaded desktop Linux, and the virtualization of everything
08/29/2007 1 new post(s) to the discussion Can your wireless network be sidejacked?
08/25/2007 1 new post(s) to the discussion (WiFi) cookies are bad for you: Security of public wi-fi fails
At present, My Workbench seems to be the most efficient way to track discussions on TR but it?s a little like the worker in the office that drinks too much; not really of use in the morning but a functioning member of the team once they get the day?s drunk on.
As with most days, I?m sure this will be sorting correctly and showing a bunch of 08/31/2007 ?Updates?. The question is what bug in the programming code is causing this and when will it be fixed? Are other’s having this same issue or am I the only lucky one?
