Hi- One of the computers on our network suddenly cannot access the internet. All others are running fine and no changes have been made to any machine. We run XP 2002, SP2 and this machine uses IE 6. I can access the share drive on the server, and have plugged another computer in to the data connection and it is able to access the internet. Somehow, the broadband connection seems to be disabled.
We use a Netopia Modem and Sonicwall TZ-170.
Error reporting states “no domain controller available for our domain due to no logon servers available to service the request” and “windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for our computer network”.
Why would this suddenly happen? Can anyone recommend a fix? Many Thanks. Ben
