About 75% of the time, our PDC will connect to Windows 95/98 with File and Print sharing enabled and maintain a connection, no matter how often we disconnect the PDC or reboot, reinstall Windows or set permissions on the Windows 9x machines. We don’t have anything shared out…just the service installed.

Can anyone tell me why the PDC (and it’s always the PDC) establishes a connection to these machines? Don’t want to be told how to stop it, just want to know why it’s doing it. Tried the MS support site, worse than useless performing searches there.
