Now be nice W2K after all this is a Thesis

Not some Uni Project so it's not overly odd to ask something like this.

Though strictly speaking the professors are supposed to be there for things like this to Help & Guide the students.

Pity that I don't know what is being done here in the way of security and wimax but if the original poster would care to repost with more detail someone is likely to be able to help you with some ideas.

I had to do a thesis, and didn't go around asking other people to contribute.

According to my lappy's dictionary:

the?sis (th"?sis), n., pl. -ses (-s"z).
1. a proposition stated or put forward for consideration, esp. one to be discussed and proved or to be maintained against objections: He vigorously defended his thesis on the causes of war.
2. a subject for a composition or essay.
3. a dissertation on a particular subject in which one has done original research, as one presented by a candidate for a diploma or degree.
4. Music. the downward stroke in conducting; downbeat. Cf. arsis (def. 1).
5. Pros.
a. a part of a metrical foot that does not bear the ictus or stress.
b. (less commonly) the part of a metrical foot that bears the ictus. Cf. arsis (def. 2).
6. Philos. See under Hegelian dialectic.
[1350?1400; ME < L < Gk th?sis a setting down, something set down, equiv. to the- (s. of tith?nai to put, set down) + -sis -SIS]
?Syn.1. theory, contention, proposal.

Point No. 3 being the only guidance I feel like contributing - "original research".

Some links

WiMax security is a rather large topic. I might suggest getting a bit more granular, such as a specific area of security. One example that I just wrote about was how VoIP maybe the next big security issue (VoIP Hopper for example), as VoIP will be one of the applications using WiMax eventually. The following links should help you get started.

I am not sure if you looked at WiKi , but there is a wealth of information on that site as well.
