We are looking to purchase about 10 – 12 thin clients for our manufacturing shop due to new software that is going to be installed soon. The vendor is telling me that we have to buy PC’s instead of thin clients because thin clients won’t read HTML files.
???? WTH…
I’m thinking that this is a some type of rip-off! Thin clients with Windows XP on them are just the same a PC without the hard drive and CD-ROM drives.
Am I correct in this assumption?
