At first when I turn on my computer it works fine. Then when I get on the internet things start going slower & slower. I'm using the recent Firefox browser, have ZoneAlarm updated, & Avast Antivirus.
After I close my browser my computer still does things real slow.
Do I have a memory leak? Sounds like it to me. My antivirus says nothing's wrong.
Windows XP Home, sp3
Intel Celeron CPU 2.2 GHZ 256 mg. ram, 19 GHZ
Help will be appreciated. - Mary

holy catfish batman....my daughter's computer runs with 756 mg and it's slower than I would like but it's maxed out (machine is an 10 yr old amd 850 mhz). If you have some empty slots, consider upgrading your ram...to at least a gig if you can.
