    Thinking of buying a GPU

    by candlejocular0m ·

I’m guessing this is the best subreddit to ask this. I’m thinking of buying an RTX 3060 or RX 6600XT this summer. I will be buying them used and not new.

I was wondering how much would they cost used if the market wast screwed up? Do you think the prices will decrease more this summer?

    I have a 1080p monitor and i wont be switching to 1440p.

    Thank you!

Used cards of those variety can be from mining rigs and they sell them if they have issues. Not a great idea.

Frankly I’m seeing the only way to get a decent GPU price is to buy it with a pre-built PC.

I always go for brand new things especially for electronics. As far as the cards are concerned the prices are going to go down, so its better that you opt for a new one.

Never opt for a used electronic device. You never know what lies ahead of you. The GPU prices are already slashed down and will go down in the future as well. So its better to buy a new one rather than opting for a used one.
