Threat Analysis

By rbarton ·
In trying to secure schools in our area, we are trying to come up with a matrix of bad habits/good habits vs risk. Does anybody know of a tool that may come close to this?

Your tring to secure your school district. And you are tring to come up with a policy, to secure your schools? Well. I dont no your size of district nor your OS. www.techrepublic.com is a good choice for getting those answers. Keep on reading articles, im sure you'll find some information. But until that time, I'd like to point you to a great tool that may help save you time in searching software patches..etc. Below is the link:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/security/tools/Tools/MBSAhome.asp

I hope this helps you.

Sincerely,
Daniel

Not what I was looking for. I have many, many resources. We're looking for a scoring system to help bring the dangers across to administrators (non-techies). This has the possibility of be used at many schools around the state of IL.
