Thumbnails

I recently formatted my h/d and re-installed win98. When i set up my file folders to look like a web page, I no longer see .jpg in a thumbnail view on the side, only .bmp’s. I have installed quickview off the disk but to no avail. Have tried different combinations of folder options, but again, no joy. I have paint, imaging and photo editor installed, if this is any help.
