After reading the 200 ways to revive a hard drive, I had one go (no back-ups, as usual).
Several of you mentioned using Tiramisu. I found a demo @simtel.net and tried it. I could see all the files – now, how and where can I register? The sites referred to in the readme.txt no longer exist. One entry takes you to ONTRACK – but they don’t list Tiramisu and I’ve tried a few of their programs and don’t SEE the files at all. I’ve tried a few other programs, but Tiramisu is the ONLY one that let’s me actually SEE the files and without a registered version, you can’t COPY files to a safe location. Any suggestions?
