Tlist running at bootup

By Andrew_Farthing ·
I have asked this question before and got an answer telling to check the registry, start up etc. That unfortunatly did not help.
It seems our software distribution profile is running the tlist command.
I have recreated the profile, which has not helped.
It can run for up to 10 minutes.
is there a way to check what task it is struggling with?

Hmm tlist doesnt come with xp (tasklist replaced it).I assume no problem in safe mode then...I would try hijack this and use the Config--misc tools--generate startup list ( its pretty thorough). I would also go through and disable all non MS services (and of course msconfig and disable all startup stuff) one at a time and see what happens.
