to contact or not to contact

By eozel ·
I m a new Techrepublic.com user and unfortunately i m unsatisified. After i become online and activate my account with the coming link , three choices as free appeared. I chose the second one and i see file not found error. I wrote this message to info@techrepublic.com to know the reason :
"The link that was supposed to be my free download for entering was not working . Here is the link i m trying
http://techrepublic.com.com/i/tr/cms/contentPics/zip/ebook.zip"

Then a mail sent me that i should sent to :
http://www.techrepublic.com/contact.jhtml for this msg(KMM11355704V17286L0KM)
Thats not even working too. What should i contact ? or not to contact and leave it at all ? :)

Try a private message to Smorty, he will be able to redirect you or offer help himself.

P.S. Don't give up on Tech Republic just yet, they have been making major site changes and it is turning from a really useful site to a really well integrated community. Just a few growing pains probably.

TR staff are generally VERY helpful, don't let a few broken links change your focus.

If some technical problems are going to put you off from the site, don't frequent Q & A, the users will make you leave for sure. :)
