My company has openings in Project Management. I have been working in IT for 10 years and have CCNA MCSE NET+ HP-NCP certs and was working on my SCSA. My position is Internet Engineer.
My question is can I expect a pay increase with this new position? What range can I expect or negotiate? I’m in Manhattan. And the company is the largest of its kind.
Also I was thinking of getting the GCA(Gartner Certified Asscociate for IT) with the ERP option for certification, possibly before I make or take the transition. And I have already made arrangements to shadow a PM.
