I’m in a bit of a “catch 22” and I need some advice on which way to go.
I am looking for a helpdesk /PC desktop support position. I also own a small, one person computer repair business. I mainly do it for tax purposes and to keep me in toys. 🙂
I went for a job interview the other day and the person who I was interviewing with said, “that seeing a canidate that “owns a computer business sends up a red flag to employers.”
How true is this? My real question is do I put this on my resume. If I do, I don’t ever get a look and if I don’t and the employer finds out, I lied and I’m fired.
I’m reworking my resume and I’m trying to minimize the best I can.
Need some advice, do I or not?
