Hello...

Solving a problem like this on a forum with so little information is really difficult. But, here are some suggestions:

- Check the properties of the CAD program's EXE. R-Click -> Properties -> Misc tab. In particular, ensure "Background: Always Suspend" is *NOT* checked. And, try reducing "Idle Sensitivity".

- Contact the maker of the CAD application and ask if it is supposed to work correctly in a "DOS box" on Windows 2000 and if there is anything special that should be done in order to do so.

Did this help with your problem?

We have tried your suggestion. It is still the same. However, with Windows 95, 98, it is working fine but not for Windows 2000 & above. BTW, have you heard of CAD - Drawbase for DOS? FYI-the vendor who served us has fold-up.
