Tomcat 5.5 Setup

By ttrza1986 ·
I am working on a project where i have to develop a web based application using JSP's to query a mysql database. Tomcat 5.5 is the web server i am using. htt://localhost brings up appache's start up page suggesting that it has been installed properly. What i need to know is how i can access my project through the web browser. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Where is your project?

Did you put your project in a folder of its own under the appache\webs folder? If so, your URL would be http://localhost/myprojectfoldername

you've completed step 5 of 25 in your project

You got the basic index.html or index.jsp file installed and served out over http.

Now you've got to customize $CATALINA_HOME/conf/*
to point to your folder where your project is.
