Tool to determine last time used file

I want to compress files that are not used every day on our SAN. Is there a tool to determine "last time used file or directory" that will allow me to compress the right files and/or directory?

Write a script\batch using robocpoy and winzip, and in the script when you crete the archive and filenam use the naming convension [filename][system date and time].zip you can pull the system date time in your script\batch.
