Tools for Monitoring a Windows Service CPU and Memory consumption

By uppulurivasu ·
Hello Friends,

Does any one know if there are any tools that can monitor a Windows box and produce graphs for the CPU, Memory consumed by a particular Windows Services in accordance to time.

Like for example the software should be able to produce the CPU and memory consumption graphs for a Windows Service (BITS) and should SMS or Alert when the service reaches a particular threshold.

Thanks in advance guys

Do you mean things like Task Manager?

Or the Monitoring Software that is used by many M'Board makers like ASUS Probe for ASUS M'Boards or System Information Viewer for Gigabyte M'Boards?

Task Manager will show you real time Resource usage and the M'Board Utilities will do the same and show much more.

Not the Task Manager

I am not asking things fully like Task Manager. The software should be able to monitor and plot the usage of CPU and memory.

Using Task Manager you can not plot as graphs or history in a duration of month or so. You can see only real time situation.

But I want some tool that can plot and maintain a history of data, max usage by that process and so on.
Thanks

I'm not sure of anything available but since you have expanded on your original Question some of the others here may know of something that will be useful to you.

Hi. You may want to have a look at Service Protector. It will track and report CPU and memory usage as part of its main job (to keep your service running 24/7), and restart your service if it crosses a CPU or memory threshold. No graphs yet though...
