The BIOS flash in current release will not do it, as that issue has been specifically fixed. The previous version of flash works just fine, apply the patch and presto, password gone, but I can't find it in the archives ... Maybe some other shop out there has one stashed away for this rainy day ...?
Good luck.

In fact there is a battery that maintains a charge for the chip that stores this information. This battery may be accessed usually by opening the laptop, and is usually located under the keyboard

The BIOS can be flash upgraded with the current patch, available at:

http://www.toshiba.ca/support/Downloads/index.html

When applied the appropriate patch will update the BIOS code, ie: re-programs the EEProgrammableROM chip. Unfortunately, the setup password must be disabled for a successful burn using this new patch. The previously available BIOS update patch for the 110s did not have this limitation/requirement ...

In the first answer given, there is an open call to peers to look in their archives and machines to determine if they have the older BIOS version. Normally, when one flashes a BIOS, the code 'burned-in' now, (before the update), will be written to a file in case there may be need to undo the change(s). If some peerout there has a 110 that needs the update, (or has the file kicking around in a floppy), then two birds with one stone, they get the update and send to you the file containing the older BIOS code, presto -> You can revert BIOS version, make changes, apply changes, update BIOS to current version with fresh file from oem ...
