My Toshiba portege 3480CT gives a “Bad check sum (CMOS) error after lying unused for a while. I understand this maybe due to the CMOS battery going flat.
My question is how do I reset the CMOS to factory settings? If I can’t do this there’s no point in my replacing the battery.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
