I have a Toshiba A55 laptop with XP SP2 Home edition. Last evening, when it froze, I switched it off. When I tried rebooting, the Windows boot screen appears and it does not go further. I tried pressing F8 and tried all the options but in vain. I don’t have Recovery console installed in it.
I have 2 partitions, C and D. Both have 30 GB.
I don’t want to use the Toshiba Recovery CD as it will wipe off my Hard disk data as well as my partitions.
Is there any way I can get back the data and do a system restore?.
