toshiba a75-s206 bios password

By charlesberryhill2005 ·
I have a toshiba a75-s206 laptop, there is a bios password set and i am wondering how i can reset it. I do not believe there is a way to reset by removing the battery (bios)... Any ideas? the tech support at toshiba says they have to plug into the parallel port, . I am willing to make the lpt plug if anyone knows the pin out. i found one pin out but they said it was for older toshiba.

Thanks in advance for any help

Parallel loopback

I don't think that laptop has a parallel port so unfortunately, he won't be able to remove the password that way. There are special procedures involved in clearing the bios and it's not an easy process. You may ship your laptop in. Check my other posts.
