So here it goes…..I have a toshiba satellite A105 laptop. The laptop fell and i replaced the hard drive because the BIOS screen was basically saying that there was no hard drive. Now I have the new hard drive in and when I run the recovery disc it goes for approx. 7 min then a screen comes up with an error messag ERROR: 1004240000

Not sure what is going on or why this happening. The disc is in fine condition.
ANY help would be appreciated at this point. I used the laptop for only 3 months!!!!
