I put a new hard drive (it’s a WD 3200BEVT) into my Toshiba M400 and Windows XP won’t recognize it.
The BIOS sees it just fine, and when I boot using the old drive, and plug the new one in to the USB port it shows up as well.
I cloned the drive using a hard drive upgrade kit from Apricorn. Looking at the drives in Windows Explorer, they appear to be identical.
Help!
