Can anyone help?
I’ve been asked to fix a faulty Toshiba Portege laptop with WinXP installed.
The laptop isn’t equipped with a CD or FDD drive. I’ve got hold of a USB CD player but I cannot work out how to boot from it since several attempts failed. The toshiba manual suggests that you can only boot from the optional Toshiba CD rom (which I dont have!)
Anybody have any ideas how to get round this? Thanks!
Note: the hard disk is already formatted.
