Toshiba Satellite A10 Display Problem

My Toshiba Satelite A10 is about 3 1/2 years old. Recently the display started to vibrate vertically about 1/4 inch. It's almost constant making it impossible to read type. Can I fix it myself?

I have satallite a10 also about 3 years old... screen starts to flicker then it just faded away....

If I plug in a monitor into the monitor out, I can use the laptop, but the lcd screen has completely stopped working.

Any suggestions? Some postings on other sites have suggested an inverter, or that the cable might be loose...

But I am now very disappointed with my Toshiba...
