Need more info to help you

by tardbag135 In reply to Toshiba Satellite A100 ( ...

You need to supply us with the EXACT model number of the laptop. For example (A105-S2051) I have a toshiba laptop myself, and the full model number should be on a gray label on the bottom. That number will allow me to look it up from toshiba, find the manufacturer of the card, and get you an so compatible driver.

Also Is this version of xp 32 bit or 64 bit? Once I have this extra bit of info, I would be glad to help you.

The easy way to proceed here is to use the Unknown Device Identifier

by OH Smeg In reply to Toshiba Satellite A100 ( ...

http://www.fileheap.com/software-unknown-device-identifier-download-34861.html

Install this and identify the Device that you have installed and then either Google it for XP Drivers or post back here and ask can anyone here help with the correct drivers.

If it turns out that you already have the correct Drivers but they do not appear to work this will be because they need to be installed in a certain Order so the easiest solution here is to make a Slipstreamed Install Disc with the WiFi Drivers and Sound Drivers on it by either following the directions here

http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-10878_11-6150784.html?tag=rbxccnbtr1

Or using a product like nLite available for free download here

http://www.nliteos.com/download.html

If you decide to use nLite don't forget to read the Directions for use here

http://www.nliteos.com/guides.html

Some devices need to be installed before you connect tot he Windows Update Servers as they are not Digitally Signed and once you connect tot he M$ Servers you can not install these devices.

If necessary you can also include Service Packs with the nLite program or the Directions from TR above.
