My Toshiba laptop had 60GB Toshiba hard drive. Week ago my laptop did not boot up and after several attemps I tried to restore factory default through CD provided by Toshiba. It could not restore Factory default with error message ” WRITE SETOR FAILURE RESULT = 1 DRIVE = 128 SECTOR 37119 TO 37183″.
I ordered new Toshiba hard drive of 80 GB and installed it but upon boot up this hard drive is not recognized. Upon pressing F2 in boot up setting it shows… HRAD DRIVE – NO.
How do I make my new hard drive recognized during boot up.
Is there any else required for installing new hard drive?
