Hello I just purchased a Toshiba Tecra A1 laptop for my daughter ( xmas gift) used from ebay. I know that was the first error!. the problem is I can’t get passed the admin password. ctr, alt alt dlt failed to work and safe mode doesn’t bring up an additional user. the next problem in a media cable failure not allowing me to boot from a cd. I have tried all the diff options in bios with negative results. Taking the dvd drive out of the notebook requires nearly a complete disassembly 🙁 any tricks I missed ? thanks
