I have noticed a lot of posts here recently that claim the discussion area is not “Professional” and that we sometimes stray into “Humorous” or “Off-Topic” comments. I also saw a really good post not get a lot of hits asking why, when there is an appropriate Q&A forum do people keep asking technical questions here.
I guess I see TR discussion boards as a coffehouse. The threads are tables. If you don’t like a table, don’t sit there, but some of us enjoy talking to each other, or even sittingalone. If you want professional tech talk, I’ve found the Q&A to be just that.
I sure don’t expect to keep on topic, or do more than loosely follow a thread in a coffeehouse though.
