Techrepublic (TR) is my number one source for IT answers and a great environment for sharing IT knowledge amongst your peers. I have noticed a deficiency in the great TR service provided recently when I wanted to track down some information about standards.
There is no set sections of TR set aside with definitions of the standards and defacto standards of the industry…
why is it that I have to goto Yahoo.com to find information about X.400 or MAPI mail standards, or other such.
It would be good if TR could develop it’s own knowledge base, or start a resource for links to the best internet portals for IT info. I want to use TR for my IT portal 100% of the time after all….
