As of late, I’ve noticed that we’ve had some problems performing traceroutes using tracert.exe on Win 2k Pro. When we perform trace to any internet host, only the first and last hops show any details. The intermediate hops all show that the request timed out.
The strange thing is that not all of our machines do this, some report full statistics for all hops.
We’ve checked the network settings, router settings, and everything else we can think of to resolve this issue. Does anyone have any ideas on what we can do?
