    Tracking an Email

    Is there a way to track your emails so that you are notified when your sent email is read

      If you are using MSOutlook, you can do it individually or with all e-mails you send.

      Individually;

      Open a new message, go up to FIle>Properties and there should be an option to include Read Receipt.

      All the time;

      Go up to Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Tracking Options> and choose “Tell me when all messages have been read.”

      Hope you are talking about Outlook….

      Unfortunately the receipt on read requests are often not honoured by email software. The receipt of delivery however normally is.
      There is no other way (except virus like techiques that only work in Outlook, and which might be illegal in the UK under the Data Protection Act).
