Tracking of Mail

by action.advocacy . Updated 19 years ago

I’m looking for a simple to use and inexpensive databased program which allows a business to track its snailmails. Letters are send out as part of a direct mail marketing campaign and then letters are returned because you didn’t use the correct address and you can’t obtain the correct address, therefore you have to suppress sending another mail to the same address but you need to keep a record of your mailing. You might be mailing a bundle of letters every week, bi-weekly, or monthly or every few months to various mailing lists. And you have to track the various mailing lists. If you get a response, you don’t want to send another letter but rather if you are going to send a second mailing to the same mailing list, you want to suppress sending another letter to someone who has already responded. I’ve searched and searched for a simple and inexpensive software program for this function but can’t find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks so much for any reply.
