Is there anyway I can just transfer a hard drive loaded with Windows XP (with Service Pack 3 and all current updates) to a newer machine without having to reinstall everything? I tried to do this and I kept getting the “blue screen of death”, and the machine went into a perpetual reboot. I’d like to get rid of the older machine, but just not ready to give up XP.
