I have had a series of hardware problems this year that have required me to reinstall software several times. Fortunately, I have been able to pop everything onto my laptop and then transfer it back over my (peer to peer) network. Each time I have lost my Outlook settings despite copying my current PST file, my ACL files and my PIP files into the relevant directory that they lived in on my laptop. Word and other Office 2000 software seems to work OK and my AutoCorrect settings seem to come across OK although I usually have to fiddle around with my Normal template to get it sorted out.
I am using Windows 98 SE on a 1GHz Athlon with 256Mb of RAM.
Any help would be appreciated, including a link to a TechRepublic article that I may have missed …… although I have been watching them like a hawk!
Best regards
