Trend Micro AV and CPU usage

My question is about high CPU usage in the Officescan agent on client computers. We are using agent ver 8.0. I have followed Trends recommendations on policy settings to lower the CPU usage, but it does not seem to help in all clients.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions? Can I tune the agent and windows to allow the agent to be less intrusive to the client who works during a scheduled scan?
